My Kitchen Rules is set to return in 2025 for a mammoth 15th season, with a new cohort of talented contestants taking to the kitchen in the hopes of winning $100,000.
The new season of MKR will premiere on Channel Seven and 7plus on Monday, 1 September, with celebrity chefs Manu Feildel and Colin Fassnidge returning as judges.
As for which team will follow in the footsteps of the reigning champions, Simone and Viviana? Only time will tell.
Who are the contestants on My Kitchen Rules 2025?
Anne and Maree
Mum and daughter, Victoria
After 10 years of auditions, Anne’s dream of competing on MKR with her daughter, Maree, has finally come true!
Bonded by their shared blood and deep reverence for their Greek heritage, Anne and Maree plan on bringing the spirit of Greece to the MKR table.
“I want you to feel part of the big Greek family,” Anne says of their dishes, all of which come from a cherished handwritten cookbook passed on from her own mother and Maree’s Yia-yia.
Maria and Bailey
Friends, South Australia
Could this high-achieving duo be the most ambitious to ever appear on MKR? They certainly seem to think so!
After conquering the corporate world, these boss best friends are now eager to test their mettle on one of Australia’s biggest cooking competitions.
They say they plan on serving up bold flavours and fine dining with an upper-class flair, and have no qualms about being cut-throat with their fellow contestants.
Lol and Lil
Friends, Queensland
These lifelong best friends from Australia’s sunny state plan to bring the sunshine to the MKR kitchen as they chase their culinary dream.
While they may be bubbly on the surface, these self-described “fighters” have a strong competitive streak and are determined to fight for their place in the competition.
“We are cute, but we do bite,” says Lil.
Michael and Rielli
Couple, Queensland
This Queensland-based couple plans on bringing bold flavours and even bigger opinions to this season of MKR.
Michael is a self-proclaimed “meat master”, while girlfriend Rielli is a baking queen with a special penchant for pastries.
But it remains to be seen if they will be able to bring home the bacon or if their creations will crumble under pressure.
Justin and Will
Best Mates, New South Wales
These best mates bonded through their shared love of fitness, fatherhood, and food, and became best mates more than a decade ago through their now wives.
Fans of MKR may recognise this duo already thanks to Will’s foodie Instagram account and Will’s time playing NRL for the Wests Tigers and Sydney Roosters.
Describing their food in one sentence, Justin says they plan on plating up “big flavour, honest food that puts a smile on your face – no fuss, just made for feeding real people.”
“[Our food is] measured, with “still a lot to learn” kind of style,” Will adds.
Mel and Jacinta
Cousins, New South Wales
These feisty first cousins plan on stirring the pot in more ways than one on this season of MKR!
Mel and Jacinta are out to prove that cooking doesn’t have to be complicated and expensive, and are eager to bring bold, health-focused flavours to the table with their vegan and gluten-free dishes.
“Our team dynamic is all about energy, laughter and balance. Mel and I have always bonded over food, and being in the kitchen together just works even if it’s a little chaotic at times,” says Jacinta.
