Married at First Sight is all about love, but from what we have seen unfold, it can also manifest in other ways, with many cast members becoming friends after their time on the show together.
The experiment is an intense environment with challenges, confrontational dinner parties, and Commitment Ceremonies.
All of this can bring people closer together or divide them to the point of feuding.
Tough times filming the show haven’t stopped the brides and grooms from going rogue on social media or being photographed together.
Now that it’s finished airing, they can come and go as they please! And boy, they are not holding back!

Who is still friends from MAFS 2025?
The sisterhood seems to be going strong this season! Awhina, Katie, Ashleigh, Rhi, Carina, Jamie, and Beth were all spotted getting together on numerous occasions.
Since the drama and Lauren Hall’s behaviour at the couple’s retreat, and the following dinner party, Carina and Jamie have strengthened their friendship.
On the subject of Lauren, she has previously revealed that she doesn’t keep in contact with any of the other brides and grooms except for Jacqui and Clint, who started dating after meeting on the show, and are now engaged.
Jamie, Beth, and Awhina have grown especially close after being seen catching up with Rhi for her birthday.
They’ve also posted social content together. “No husband but I got 2 wives ?,” Awhina posted after the reunion aired.
Awhina was also photographed with Rhi in Perth and Beth in Sydney. She’s also grown close to Billy, and the pair have since alluded to dating.
Regarding the other brides, MAFS Funny podcast host Josh Fox provided some interesting intel while the show was airing.
At the time, he revealed that the other brides were not part of the above-mentioned “core” group. Veronica was reportedly friends with just Carina and Morena. Morena reportedly only speaks to some of the women, including Veronica, whom she said she was “proud” to be her friend.
However, Veronica has since revealed that she does not speak to anyone from MAFS. Taking to Instagram in April, when asked why she did not “associate” with anyone from her season, she said, “Drama disappears when you hang out with smarter and more thoughtful people”. Yikes!
Sierah has also been seen out with Katie.
Now, the grooms.
Dave and Billy struck up a firm friendship during the experiment and haven’t been shy in sharing their bromance online!
They created a joint TikTok account, posting their behind-the-scenes shenanigans.
Since the reunion aired, they told 9 Entertainment they plan to move in and travel together.
“And this is one thing that I’m really, genuinely so happy about. OK, I didn’t come out with a partner, but I have come out with a best friend, and I’m so grateful for that, I feel like I’ve won,” Billy said.
Beyond their online antics, they are also close to Jeff.
In the same video compilation with 9 Entertainment, Jeff said he was closest with Adrian, Billy, Dave, and Teejay, but everyone got along.
“We’re all a big, tight group, really,” he said.
When it comes to the other grooms, Adrian and Eliot are also friends.
Eliot has also been spotted catching up with Carina and hanging out with Tony.
The groom also told 9 Entertainment that he considered Jamie a close friend, but there have been suggestions that they have a romantic connection.
With Adrian he was seen reuniting with Morena at a fashion show, along with Teejay in March.
Tony and Ryan are also on great terms and were seen together at a boat party that same month.
In a post to his personal Instagram account on April 3, the self-proclaimed “warrior” said he was thankful he met Tony on the show.
“I remember standing on the balcony at the first gathering of all the grooms. We became good mates just chilling there, talking about where we grew up. How huge this all was and are we actually crazy ?,” he wrote.”Nothing’s changed since then, have MAFS to thank for that ??.”
Ryan said Tony might have made some merchandise, because he was wearing a “Tony Time” shirt in the carousel of images. This became a point of contention in his marriage to Morena, when he would take time away from his wife in Wollongong.
Tony said all of the grooms got along, and he was closest to Adrian, Eliot, and Paul.

Even though fans have speculated about Eliot’s relationship with Jamie, it’s fair to say the pair are on great terms.

Ryan also shared a series of photos with Tony with the caption: “As good as it gets ??” in June.
Carina posted this throwback photo from her time on MAFS with Rhi, Jeff, and Billy in June.
“Bits and pieces in my camera roll from last year making the best memories ?,” she captioned the post.
Even though Veronica has said she does not speak to anyone on MAFS, she was friends with Carina while they were filming the show. Carina also posted this throwback pic.
Taking a trip down memory lane, Carina also shared this sweet photo of herself, Jamie, Rhi, and Awhina from their MAFS photoshoot.
Carina, Tony, and Adrian bumped into each other and saw Carla Zampatti at the Australian Fashion Week in Sydney.
“Finally got the call up for the runway ??♂️x,” Adrian wrote in this post on Instagram.
Ryan was one of many MAFS contestants who were invited to Australian Fashion Week this year, where he mingled with some other brides and grooms.
Bride Jamie took a photo with Carina and her mother, Carmel, who also came to Sydney for Australian Fashion Week.
Ryan shared this mirror selfie with Adrian on May 4.
Teejay captioned this photo with Jeff as “Father, Son time ?”.
Dave, Jeff, and Billy are still close friends after going through the experiment. In a carousel of photos on Instagram, Jeff captioned it: “Big 3 ??”.
Dave and Jeff have continued to bond after MAFS.
Awhina posted a carousel of photos with her son, and in there, was this photo of him with groom Jeff.
Rhi and Beth have become friends after MAFS and have caught up many times.
It’s obvious that Rhi and Carina have remained close after their experiences on MAFS.
While Veronica has since said she does not associate with anyone from the show, Carina did share this photo on April 16, reflecting on her time on MAFS. It was in a gallery which featured photos of her and Rhi with the caption “Experiment bubble ft. a few special moments #mafs”.

Billy and Awhina shared this photo to Instagram in April with the caption “Who really ate?” This sent the rumour mill about them being a potential couple into overdrive.
However, Awhina recently revealed that she’s only friends with the Perth groom.

After knowing each other before the show, Teejay captioned these photos with Jamie with: “Who would have thought after 12 years we would be here ??♂️”.
On his other Instagram page, which wasn’t controlled by Channel Nine, Ryan revealed that Tony recovered in hospital from having a heart attack towards the end of April. In his caption, he said that Adrian also called him. “Can’t keep a good Macedonian man down, he’ll be back to his best in no time! ?” Ryan wrote.

Adrian and Teejay are still close after MAFS.
