Former Royal Chef, Darren McGrady, has shared the Overnight Oats recipe that he prepared for Princess Diana’s breakfast for years! With only five minutes prep time, it’s shockingly easy to eat like royalty.

Where did Princess Diana’s overnight oats recipe come from?

Overnight oats became a viral hit back in 2012 and remain popular today, but Darren McGrady reported that Princess Diana was eating them almost 20 years earlier, from 1993. She went to a Swiss health clinic and had the overnight oats there. They were called Bircher Muesli and were invented by a Swiss nutritionist, says McGrady. Princess Diana loved them and ‘stole’ the recipe. She then asked her chef to prepare them for breakfast every day.
